A few posts ago, I mentioned that at Jane Goodall’s Global Youth Summit two global council’s formed. One of those councils, the Global Youth Council for Wildlife Conservation, is rolling right along.
The council recently launched a website and just posted a news article about the council’s formation from the perspective of one of the council members, Mark Hargove. You can read the article here.
It is pretty exciting to see how this council will grow and how 30 young people from around the world will work together to change the world. It is also, personally, pretty exciting to be in the middle of it. To have been at the first meetings and playing a role in the formation of, not to sound like an 18 year-old, a cool thing.
I am sure that there will be much more to write about this council in the future!
